MITCHEL HILL

Mr. Hill is the Founder and Managing Partner of HPP, Mitch leads the firm’s investment strategy, focusing on all aspects of the firm’s business, from legal, structuring capital partnerships, acquisition and financing as well as managing all day-to-day operations. Since inception in 2015, Mitch has invested in upwards of $425MM worth of real estate transactions participating as a general partner or controlling limited partner. Mr. Hill has also been a real estate lawyer for over 25 years, working as a partner in NYC based national law firms conducting large scale commercial and multi-family acquisitions, sales and financings and real estate related mergers and acquisitions. For a significant portion of his career, Mitch ran the real estate investment group for Troutman Sanders (currently Troutman Pepper LLP), an AM Law 100 law firm. Mitch received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Kenan-Flagler Business School in 1990 and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1993.

GRIFFIN HOFFMANN

Mr. Hoffmann is a Partner and Head of Acquisitions & Development at HPP, Griffin focuses on all capital raising, deal sourcing, acquisition, and development efforts at the firm. Along with the company’s founder, Mr. Hoffmann is responsible for the formation and execution of the company’s business plan and investments. Griffin has nearly ten years of direct real estate experience. Prior to joining HPP, Mr. Hoffmann was director and head of acquisitions and development at Somerset Partners. Griffin was a key member of the management team, active in all aspects of the business and executed on over $1B+ worth of transactions while at Somerset across all asset classes including value-add multifamily, trophy and value-add office properties, as well as a ground up mixed-use masterplan development in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx. Griffin graduated from Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, where he was an Orange Scholar Athlete, with a SU record of 121-26 in his 4 years as a member of the Orange Men’s Basketball Team, the winningest class in Syracuse History. He was a Senior Captain of the 2013 Final Four team.
